Disability Mission Statement
It is our aim to make our centres and activities accessible to all members of the community. All employees strive to achieve inclusive leisure centres where people of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Our leisure centres aim to include all adults and children in every aspect of the centres’ programmes. When necessary, support and training is given to teachers or instructors to assist them to adapt classes to include all users.
We encourage young people with disabilities to participate in our lessons and sessions and will endeavour to adapt our structures and planning to include every child to the fullest of their ability.

Employment Policy
We are committed to our responsibilities in relation to Trade and Employment under the Disability Act 2005 and the Employment Equality Acts 1998, amended 2004. We understand that it is illegal to discriminate on grounds of disability in employment, promotion or training, and as employers we must reasonably accommodate people with disabilities to do their job, where the cost is not disproportionate.
Carers Policy
Our Carers Policy allows a carer accompanying a person with a disability, who cannot access the facilities alone, to access our facilities at no additional charge. This includes our swimming pool, racket sports and supervision in our gym. The carer cannot workout/train in the gym separately as they are present to support the cared for person using the gym equipment. Carers must book in advance by calling 03330 439 900.
