Vacancies for Belper Leisure Centre 

RECREATION ASSISTANTS Location: Belper Leisure Centre  We are recruiting Contracted Recreation Assistants now. This could be the start of a long and fulfilling career in Leisure.  You will ensure the effective, clean and safe operation of swimming pools and dryside facilities. You will deliver excellent levels of customer service to centre users at all times.  You will be part of an enthusiastic and friendly Team.  Ideally you will hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and First Aid at Work Certificate. However, we can train you to gain these.  Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. SWIMMING TEACHERS 

Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour 
 
Casual Positions 
 
Recruitment and interviews on an ongoing basis 
 
We are currently looking to recruit swim instructors to work within our swim programme. 
 
Candidates must be fully qualified to Level 2 ASA/STA. Swim lessons will take place Monday to Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. 
 
Previous experience is preferable in working with both children and adults in a group and 1 to 1 situation. 
 
The ability to foster excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues is essential in this post 
 
The Post is subject to an Enhanced Check endorsed by the Disclosure & Barring Service. The check is being made under Section 7(1) of the Protection of Children Act 1999.
