HEALTH & FITNESS CONSULTANT

FULL TIME - PERMANENT

Rate of pay £19,586 - £20,048 per year

We are looking for a full time

Health & Fitness Consultant.

Applicants must possess at least a level 2 Gym Instructor qualification

Preferably with an additional group exercise qualification (Group Cycle, Exercise to Music, Circuits, Pilates, Yoga etc.…)

You would be responsible for conducting Fitness Suite inductions and individual programming to deliver an excellent customer / member experience whilst promoting the facilities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The position includes daytime and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota - Closing date 05/11/23

LEISURE TEAM MEMBERS

FULL TIME - PERMANENT

Rate of pay £8.20-£10.42 per hour

e have opportunities for full time and part time lifeguards at Belper Leisure Centre. The successful applicants will contribute towards the effective operation of the leisure team, delivering a first-class service to our customers, creating a friendly, safe environment.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be desirable; however, we would be happy to support the right candidate through that qualification. You would need to be a competent swimmer and have the ability to adhere to health and safety responsibilities.

There may also be opportunities to gain qualifications as a swimming teacher or other relevant qualifications to work in other areas of the leisure industry.

The responsibilities of the job include:-

Life-guarding duties, supervising customers using the swimming pool and carrying out pool checks.
You will always act in accordance with the health & safety requirements of the Leisure Centre, prioritising the safety of the customers at all times, whilst they are using our facilities.
Setting up and taking down activity equipment in accordance with bookings.
You will also be required to ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, being vigilant and carrying out duties as and when required.
Customer interaction and delivering an excellent service in a professional manner is essential.

Casual/Permanent Swimming Teacher

We are currently looking to recruit swim instructors to work within our swim programme.

Candidates must be a fully qualified Level 2 ASA Swimming Teacher to apply. Swimming lessons will take place Monday to Friday evenings and Saturday Mornings.

A flexible approach to hours is essential to cover sickness and holidays

Previous experiences is preferable in working with both children and adults in a group and 1-2-1 setting.
