Rookie Lifeguard swimming lessons

We have introduced the Royal Life Saving Society Rookie Lifeguard (RLSS UK). The course will provide the basis for young swimmers who want the option to develop essential water skills to keep themselves safe and gain an understanding of appropriate action to take during water based emergencies. This also includes actions to take is someone stops breathing.

Rookie Lifeguards progress at their own speed, the award can be used in partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. The course allows children to spend as much time as they need to become confident within the water and provides a link to the RLSS UK Nation Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
