TRILOGY TALENTED ATHLETE SCHEME

We are committed to supporting and developing local talented athletes to reach their full potential. The Trilogy Talented Athlete scheme aims to provide all Northampton based athletes competing at county or regional standard and above with a free annual Supergold membership or Junior Active membership. This will enable local athletes to offset some of the costs associated with training and competing at a high level in sport. To improve his World Championship position from last year in France where he finished 44th out 123 riders.
Selection into Regional School of Racing which is the next step up in his development.
To improve his national standing to top 6 or 7.

Lucas's parents say "the Trilogy Talented Athlete Scheme has helped him in many ways. BMX racing is physically and mentally an extreme sport where you need strength, stamina, technical skill and a lot bravery! Having use of Trilogy's facilities helps him push to achieve all of these, wether it’s swimming, static bikes or being able to increase his core strength. He is particularly keen on swimming which is helping him increase his upper body strength and fitness."

Karen has been selected to represent her country once again at the World Transplant Games which are taking place in Australia in April 2023.

Karen says "Transplant Games athletes are all completely self funded so being part of the Trilogy Talented Athlete Scheme is a real help to me. I train in the pool at Cripps Recreation Centre and my land based training to build arm and leg strength is at Duston Sports Centre. Staying physically fit helps me to overcome the side effects of the drugs I have to take to stop rejecting my transplant. It also keeps me mentally fit.
