POOL UPDATE ISSUED AT 9.30AM TODAY 09/08/22.

 

We are pleased to announce that the issue with the pool has now been resolved and the pool will be OPEN AS NORMAL from 12.15pm today, as per the current timetable.

POOL CLOSURE UPDATE 04/08/22

 

Due to the ongoing technical fault, our pool will continue to be closed for the rest of today (04/08/22) and until Tuesday (09/08/22) morning, 7.15am, Lane Swim.

 

We hope to re open at some point on Tuesday 09/08/22 and will keep you informed by posting an update on Facebook as soon as possible. Alternatively, please call the Leisure Centre Reception 01773 825285.

POOL CLOSURE FROM 12NOON TODAY 3/8/22 DUE TO A TECHNICAL FAULT

Update 25/01/22

In line with the updated Government Guidance from Thursday 27th January 2022 we will not be asking customers or staff to wear a face covering when entering or moving around the building. However, those that wish to do so are welcome to.

 

We would like to assure you that customer care and safety remains our priority, our cleaning routines will continue to stay heightened, and customer sanitisation points will remain throughout the Centre.

Update 10/12/21

In view of the latest Government guidance, regarding the wearing of face coverings in most indoor public places.


From Saturday 11th December 2021, we encourage everyone visiting our facilities to wear a face mask;

•when entering the building

•within communal and spectating areas

•when walking to an activity inside


Whilst we are aware that Leisure Centres, are not listed in a mandatory mask wearing category, we feel that asking customers to take this precaution is in the best interests for both customers and staff.

Update  2/12/21
Bookings have now been removed 

As of 6/12/21 you will no longer need to book for your swim session. All customers attending the pool must swipe their valid membership card or pay at Reception. The fast-track till will no longer be available for swim sessions. Please hand your receipt to the Lifeguard on pool side.

We would like to  assure customers that the pool bather load ratios will remain the same. The number of customers per session will remain the same, the only change will be that customers will no longer be required to book.

 

Each step we have taken throughout the last 20 months have been done in conjunction with a strict Risk Assessment in line with guidance from our industry governing bodies (Sport England, UK Active and CIMSPA). We will, as always continue to review any changes to this advice and will not hesitate to bring in further restrictions again if needed.

 

Customers are encouraged to scan the QR reader and sanitise their hands upon arrival, we also welcome the use of face masks in communal areas.
